Hi everyone,

Seems to be a very interesting and helpful discussion. I have my LoA in hand. now i am preparing documents that needs to be sent to CIO, NS. I lived in three different country for more then 2 years. I listed all of them in the form however, I am not able to get police certificate from one of the country as i dont have any contact there.
The question is that, Are there any applicant on this thread who mentioned in their form the countries where they lived while did not provide Police certificate from one of the country and his form was still accepted at CIO.

Thanks for everyone suggestion/Comments in advance,

Regards,

Arise

Hi Arise,

I am in similar position . I was suppose to send 3 police certificates from 3 different countries, but sent only one thinking that I will provide other 2 when I receive it and after AOR# is generated. CIO received my application on Feb 13th haven't heard anything yet. I will let you know what happens with my application.

Meantime please ask someone who has more knowledge on this and then send it to CIO. I can only provide information about my application to compare it.

Cheers!

Hi Parasamp

I sent my Application to Novascotia in December 2011. They received on 28th December.
Then my credit card was cashed on 2nd February, But I have not heard anything from them.
I work and live in Alberta.
My AINP was sent to visa office in Buffalo.
Not sure what happens next.
Some people have mentioned in forum that if your credit card is charged it means that your application is complete.

Hi Arise/Lotius,

I also lived in two other countries before coming to Canada and I sent police certificates from those two countries as well. In the forms it was mentioned that you can still apply if you do not have police certificates from all the countries as long as you provide them when asked by cic,

hello frnds.....when i sent my file to cio then i sent a draft of 1040$ with documents but that draft was in favour of cic new delhi....is this fine????

hi...
yes mostly if they charge your card application is complete...no worries whatsoever..just check your the mail properly...spam folders, fileters etc...from charging of card to AOR timeline is 2weeks...may be currently they are increasing that delay? i am sure your AOR is on the way..may be early next week you will get...good luck...

thanks

Hi aonedoc,

Just to let you know that. I have also applied through AINP and currently working in US.

Hello Litous,

Yah we are in the same boat. Me also a bit confuse however, What Aonldoc mentioned is that we can still apply without the PCC from each country. what i will do is to attach the two countries PCC and if asked will try to get the missing country PCC. Yah, please let me know once you get any feedback from CIO.

Success,

Arise

Hi there...just wanted to give you quick clarification. You can send in your application without all of the PCC with an explanation of the missing documents but you MUST be able to provide when asked...and they will ask for them so make sure you get the ball rolling on requesting them because all it will do is delay your processing and they will probably give you a timeframe to provide docs so make sure you request them way ahead of time (now). Hope this helps...

no... it is very clear stated in the forms that draft cheque MUST be payable to "THE RECEIVER GENERAL CANADA"

exactly thats what I have done. I have put a request to Police departments in both the countries to issue PCC , but it will take few weeks before I can get hold of them. However, I didn't write them the explanation letter why these were missing in the first place. Lets wait and see what they will do with my application.
