It takes a few weeks to get the AOR. I read somewhere that the average was 6 weeks. It hasn t even been a month since they received your application. They received my application 4 days after yours and they are yet to cash the draft. If in two weeks you still have nothing I would suggest you email them. All you can do for now is wait.

Hmm Thanks.... right..but if u see the trend in this forum most of them got it inside 4 weeks their AOR..so only i m little confused..lets see...i am a step ahead than yours.. i will take the confidence from you :) lets wait and watch...

Thanks

Glad I could help.
But actually you are the victim of what is called survivorship bias. You are only looking at people who did receive the AOR and forget those who sent it in december and are yet to receive anything. We only look at that information and try to make projections for us. Until all the people that sent their file before you get their AOR. It is hard to get how much time it will take.

haha..agreed... but 2-3 out of the list didnt get the AOR and they havent wrote in the forum for long so not aware of the status yet...for the benefit or doubt i went to that side of survivorship :) but anyway lets c where it takes..waited so long little more shouldn be an issue.

my concern was little bit on the application form, my CSQ was issued in Montreal and its mentioned in my CSQ send fed applctn to buffalo, but since i had an option of New Delhi (nationality) and i might return back to India in March was thinking to send the application with VO as New Delhi, also processing is faster there 3months compared to 13moths in Buffalo. Anyway they have taken the money on my credit card, i m still hoping this shouldn end in a glitch in the processing....

We are all in stage of stress ???

hello MH_334,
welcome to this forum :D , please kindly review our previous post so you can have an idea regarding the trend of AOR, it really depends on the case of the application.
Please provide us some info so we can add you on our traking list.
1.What is your category/stream and VO office.
2.Do you know when(exact date) your file was received at CIO?
3.What is your payment method? Did you pay both PF&RPRF? Please check with your bank if payment has already encashed from your account, if so, then you might be able to expect the AOR one-two weeks after payment transaction.

Hi sset12,
Following is my information.
Catergory: MPNP
VO: Buffalo
Recieved at CIO: 01-30-12
Payment mehod: Money order
I paid both PF and RPRF

I paid my application fees via moneyorder so its hard to track.
Thank you

Hi, I am new to this thread. I am through ALberta Nominee Programme and recently applying to Nova Scotia, Sydney.
My question is: Do i need supporting doucments i.e. Certificates, bank statement showing I have CAD funds in bank. on Scheduld 4-we put amount in the bank. Has sydney requested additional documents from anyone? what were those additional docs. At this point i am not sure what supporting docs would i include in my kit.

Please help Thanks

Hello,

I didnt get any updates yet from CIO or VO. I am QSW applicant. Applctn received by CIO on 5th Jan, money debited on 25th Jan. Its been a week now, am i worried too early?

Hiyya Prasmp,

You dont need to worry coz your funds have been debited, they only debit the money if your application is complete, else they would send the documents back.. so it proves ur application is complete, just give it sometime before they email you with your AOR.. cheers

Manu yes its 10months if you are not QSW...all PNP (except for QC) its 10months in ND, Quebec selected workers its 6months.
Because QSW we dont send any documents to Federal (say educational certificates, work experience etc) just application form, intend to reside in Quebec and the Quebec issues CSQ(selection certificate) during our interview itself they will collect one set of our mark sheets, work exp etc.. so processing shouldn be little lesser..poilce and medicals verifications alone by Fed...
