none actually, i didn't fill up the forms... my mother in law did it for me (and then she sent the forms for me to sign and i sent it back to her).. and when I asked her why she didnt mention the travels she said, she didnt mention her travels in her application form either so i guess that's why?

its really a bit frustrating for me cause i want to just mention it just in case they ask... and she doesn't want me to mention it cause she says its irrelevant... should i mention it anyway without telling her? i mean i'm the one who could get denied...

just update your personal history, i did modify my personal history too coz in my form submitted to MPNP i stick to the "employment" status but forget to mention my short vacations from other countries but as per the new checklist which includes imm5562 i did mention 15 countries even just 1 day for every city of each country...

I also got my bachelor and master in China. My suggestion is if immigration office ask for verified copy version, just do it. Or else, you may be asked to do it later. You just need to take the original one to the notorized office (公证处) in your city and they know how to do that.

Well, I gave up. I contacted a translation company in Cincinnati and they will RE-translate to English and notarize it, accordingly. I will $200 for this service. They are astonished at the beginning and asked me: why you need translation service if your doc has been translated by your school? I said, I do not know either. I

Hi Guys,

I just checked the CIC website and found that the applicant doesn't have to submit the work reference letter to the CIO according to the new criteria modified on January 19. This is good news for the current applicants who haven't submitted their applications to the CIO.

Cheers,

Hi billy,

Thats great news! I cant believe it. I just re-confirmed by checking the Checklist link again (dated: 01-2012)
Thanks for sharing this.

Hi there,

Yes I just saw the details on the website as well .. The new checklist does not require work reference :)

Hi manubobby,

Can we modify our Background Declaration after getting nominated for PNP? I missed out on my initial work experience information.

Thanks.

Yea you can put it in .. As the initial application was for getting nominated and currently u r sending the info to federal government .. Although. .. If u missed it the last time, there would have been a gap for ur initial application in personal history right. ...?? Wasn't that a problem ??

I havnt left any gap in my personal history, just that i need to change title and and a company's name. Now that the new checklist is out, i am wondering whether i should worry too much about it?

Yes this is true. The previous checklist which was intended for the Dec 1, 2011 changes in CIC policies, version was 11-2011. This new checklist version is now 1-2012. Does that mean they don't need it anymore? Employment and education history are already included in our MPNP application. Maybe CIC is trying to trim out some redundancies in the application package?
