UCI stand for Universal Client Identification, or some people call it Unique Client Identification

Either way, It is unique ID number, which CIC assign to each and every applicant.

If you are filing your first application ever, you probably don't have UCI yet. But once the application for Visa, PR visa, or any other petition is filed with CIC, they will issue a UCI number.
ok so i'll leave this one blank right? cause i dont have UIC yet

UIC is in the IMM0008.

So i dont send the MAPP anymore? cause the packet I prepared is the same one in which i submitted for the MPNP nomination (so the documents I have left are originals e.g. transcripts, etc) Im a bit confused because of the new rulings...
Hi there,

You don't need to submit the mapp forms .. Those were for getting nominated .. U need to check out the new document checklist on the cic website and send the documents accordingly .. They have specifically mentioned that only the documents as per new checklist should be submitted and any additional documents may result in them sending the documents back or worst case even refusal .. So please have a look at the new checklist and do the needful.. Cheers

I got a temporary visit visa last year and visited Canada about 10 days and back to the US. Did I have a UCI? Where to locate it? Thanks.

Completing the form:

Type your universal client identification number (UCI), if known. Otherwise, leave it blank. If this is your first time dealing with CIC you will not have a UCI.

I mean , if you don't have/know the number, leave it blank...

Hi the only way you can confirm it is by checking the courier companies tracking system .. But beyond that .. To check the status of our application.. We need to wait till they send an AOR via email or normal mail .. Cheers

friends, i need your advice.. I have a problem

The application packet to be sent to Sydney has the Supplementary Your Travels From...

the thing is my relative (whose in canada and who filled up our forms) did not place our travels in the Background Declaration Question 11 Personal History (which we submitted in manitoba for the MPNP).

Now should I declare in the Supplementary Your Travels from that I've been outside the country before?

My relative is insisting that i not fill it up or simply check did not travel... but im scared that it will be tantamount to omission thus cause for denial...

should I place my travels anyway?

Well if you tell them you did not travel .. It would be a problem when they request for passport and they clearly mention that you need to supply all the old expired passports as well and if they see you have travelled and mentioned that you haven't.. It could be treated as misinterpretation or forgery and could end up in a refusal and a ban for 2 years .. So be honest .. Tell them you did travel .. And when u apply for nomination ... We don't have to give travel info unless we lived in a country for than 6 months.. And if that's d case u will even have to get police certificates .. By hiding the truth you are only creating problems for yourself .. Cheers

Again depends on ur situation .. I had travelled overseas for 10 days while I was working in India .. But I did not mention that in personal history as I was away only for 10 days .. But I mentioned the duration in travel form and number of days and purpose. .. So if you travelled for more than a month you should mention it both on personal history and travel forms.. But if it's less than a month .. You need to mention it on ur travel form.. Stating the number of days travelled and also purpose.. Is there any reason why you have not mentioned your travel ??
