Yes i agree...receiving AOR and medicals is interesting....once they send the docs only VO can rquest medicals... a52411940 can you elaborate if you got medicals from CIO?

Even i am in Canada, in Quebec...but i sent my application 2-3days later than you...yet to get AOR...fingers crossed..

Now I wonder how long it'll take till I receive AOR from VO...I guess it really depends on the VO I guess?
Mine is Tokyo/Japan and the current processing time is 5months according to the CIC website.

Quick question though, how did ur bank get to know about the debit ?? Did u give credit card info ?? Coz I took a demad draft in cad$ and the amount was taken out of my account the very day d demand draft was issued to me and the there is no way I can track it, please help.. Cheers

You just have to call your bank and ask them I did the same thing as you and I regularly check with them. Sometimes you will find someone who doesnt know about this but insist he or she checks with their supervisor.

Hi guys.. I know there were big changes last Dec 1 where we need to send all our documents to the CIO at Nova Scotia.

Now, here's my question. Did anyone sent your documents directly to your local CIC office after December 1? If yes, did you receive any feedback from them? Were your documents returned? Or did they forward it to the CIO office?

Because for me, I got nominated last September 2011. So it took me quite sometime to complete the supporting documents. Then I submitted it to my local CIC office here in the Philippines last December 20.

Now, I have not received any word from them and I am starting to worry because of the invitation letter from AINP that it will expire this April if I did not send my documents on time. I specifically followed what was insturcted to me on the letter that I need to send it to the CIC office assigned to me.

So much worry about this....

Jot,
I suggest to submit two forms(IMM 5620), one for the Processing fee ($550) and another one for RPRF ($490). The total of your bank draft still the same $1040...I think they did not change your category, it's just that they are using the same template (FSW) for all PR applicants... coz our AOR states the same category.
I can send you the RPRF form, just let me know your email address.

now i am change my bank draft to $550 just processing fee as they mention in the letter they send me back and i will send 490$ when they will ask for it..i just do not want to make any argu with them that why they do not accept my demand draft of $1040 before,which should me accepted any ways..but they do not,at the moment they just want $550 so i just change my draft to that amount.i hope they accept my application now..and everything goes right..finger crossed this time.and gud luck to all.
