Got PPR/MR/RPRF request from HKVO (on behalf of NDVO) through email in end of May. Did my medicals in end of may. Medical results recieved at end of June. Dispatched passport, RPRF, Medical reciept at end of June (which reached delhi in 4-5 days.

Now I am stuck. As I might have to travel to India due to family reason. I confirmed with the bank and came to know that the draft (rprf) has been encashed already. Do you or anyone has any clue as to how many more days it will take to get the passport back (I mentioned the address in india for them to send the PP).

But due to emergency, if I need to goto India, what is the possible option?

E-Cas status says "Medical Recieved"/ In-Process
I know people on this forum who are stuck and waiting for months to get their PP back.

I did my medicals on 8th May and it was updated on ecas on 21st May and RPRF was encashed on 18th May.. I sent RPRF and passports and 9th May and its been over two months now, I still havent heard from them yet.

hey manu....ur status yet to change to decesion made???....it took quite long....no worries...u vill hear it soon ....

I have sent my documents to CIO after jan 2012. . . and i am getting response for additional documents.... like change thie document and send again by fax or mail. . . or missing documents etc. so dont say that they return the application on the spot. . .
but they are hell slow.....

yes .. but ive lived in Australia and New Zealand for over a year each and i guess thats why its taking so long .. anyways .. keeping my fingers crossed..

yea buddy .. its been a while and im assuming it will take some more time as well since the background check is longer for ppl who have lived outside of india .. anyways .. hoping for the best and waiting patiently.. :)
