Well, we don't know how these things will turn out, yours can be quicker, but even if this is stressful, we have not reached the maximum processing times for our applications, I would love to have an answer now but it is a matter of time... As always in this country.

No updates from me. It's still eligibility in progress. I see that it's got review required by officer.

Same here........ Waiting, now I'm not sure if I should apply for the WP extension. Because even if they approve the PR in November, the permit expires in January, but after one receive P1 you need to wait more time for P2 and Copr, and I guess you need to have the status when you receive Copr.. Am I right?
Yes one should have status or applying for WP renewal will safe zone one in status called implied. Even though we can work it is not easy to get away with everything in implied status. I had a tough time getting the health card for one of my kids whose passport had to be renewed and the SP/visitor permit took 9 months to come through, the province departments made me run around and gave me many heartaches and I ended up paying for expat insurance etc...

I completed the Biometrics (BIL) and Medical examination - October 6, 2023.
While my application is being processed, I don't have access to the online account status tracker because I'm using a representative.
However, I have been using the automated voice status tracker to check the progress of my application. A week ago, the status indicated
that my "eligibility and background checks were in progress".
Today, when I checked the same automated voice tracker,
it mentioned that my eligibility review is still ongoing, and the background verification review hasn't started yet.
I'm seeking information or insights regarding this status update and would appreciate any assistance or ideas on the matter.

That automated voice is not a great and dependable tool it just reads the details of the 7 statuses in the GC key. As you might have read elsewhere he BG goes through multiple stages yours has changed now. Also get the access to your tracker account this is different https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en
You representative can representative can continue to manage your GC Key, but for the tracker they should be ok for you to have an account. Try creating one with your UCI and app number and try creating the login. When you do that the confirmation code for the account will go to the email ID of the rep which was given in the GCkey you can get the tracker code from them and have access to the tracker alone for now, it gives better information on the progress.
