Hello everyone, I am trying to find a way to become Canadian PR as I know is our dream for all here, I planned to apply under EE but my score is too low, someone suggested to apply under PNP, but no sure if I qualify; here is where I need your valuable help.
I have been working in Calgary Alberta for almost a year with a work permit based on a LMIA as semiskilled worker under a Noc B, my employer is offering a permanent job offer, I have a good level in English, I am 33 years old, the only and main reason I don't score for EE is I don't have education documents at all. ;D
So Do you guys think I am elegible to apply? Or what else I need?
Any help will be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks wicaact for your help,
I have checked those links before but to be honest it's a little confusing because I don't know or I don't understand if I need education documents or any license or something like that to apply to be nominated, that's where I get lost, that's why I am trying to find simple answers from people's experience, no matter if different provinces.

Unless you have at least your high school diploma assessed, you will not be able to go through the provincial nomination. Another option is to get your high school diploma done in Canada. But then you are caught in the same problem. As schools would need to see your basic education. What you can try is to find a school that would somehow accept you.

These days all provincial nominations for skilled workers (not family members) do require at least high school diploma to be assessed. Same thing for the express entry as such.

I am not sure if there is still some possibiliy on the paper based application (old system). However even then you are supposed to get min. 67 points on the standard scale.

So simple advice is, to get the education done. (either let your to be assessed or study in Canada).

That is not correct.
For AINP you don't need your high school diploma assessed.

first: NOC B is not semiskilled so you don't need a english test
and second: what is your occupation and/or NOC code???

Any NOC B position does require some education. One of the criteria is to have related education which will bring it again to either have education from Alberta or to have it assessed (I do not remember any NOC B where no education is stated as requirement.

And in semi skilled programm it is again:
Show that you have completed a minimum of high school education

So yes pretty much everybody requires High school as minimum criteria.

When it comes to English test itself, that part might be hit at the moment when the application will come on the federal level (also that would be paper based application).

K4n4d4Ws - My occupation is stonecutter- NOC: 7281, I have 10 years of experience in my home country, the company where I received training from issued me a letter.
I have no certification, I did not finish junior high school because I had to leave school very young to start working and supporting my mom and sisters that's why I don't have education. :(

Thanks andy108, I don't have a skilled certification as is, just training letter or reference letter from the company where I developed my abilities for almost 10 years, my minimum and only level of education is not even junior high school diploma unfortunately, let's say I just graduated from elementary school :'(

Amazing, how can you learn so sweet English without any higher education. We are struggling still now after education.

it is more important that you have some courses/training certificats or have a apprenticeship certification in your occupation

evidence of completion of the highest level of secondary education available in
their home country.

when i applied for AINP they never ask for it
and I applied under AINP / Strategic Recruitment Stream / Compulsory and Optional Trades / without Job Offer
Occupation/NOC:Welder/7237

and because of the AINP-requirement it is also not necessary on federal level (CIC)

I am not sure if you have a good chance without trade certification
but it might be enough for AINP to show them your company training/experience letter.
Furthermore I would suggest that you contact AINP and ask them about your situation
and if you need a high school diploma to get a nomination
http://www.albertacanada.com/opportunity/programs-and-forms/emailform.aspx

and when you get the answer from AINP please post it here

At the moment there is no such stream opened. They do require work permit for everybody except of some engineering professions.

you can check more here:
http://www.albertacanada.com/opportunity/programs-and-forms/ainp.aspx

Thing is that one way or another he will hit education. He can either have high school or some trade specific certificate. He can for sure try the application to see what can be done there.

When it comes to language criteria, that will depend on the federal part (they may or may not require them).

@KN4 & Vensak, what about Morden Immigration?
Morden belongs under Manitoba, that is different province, so you need to check for requirements there. In that case you have 3 steps to do:
1. Accepted by Morden
2. Manitoba PNP
3. Federal part
