I did, all they said that your background check is in progress. second time said file is waitig in queue.

I did in August. I received a reply just a few days ago. No mention of any of my concerns in the letter I sent them. Just another template response.

Hi everybody,
I'm an inland applicant and I've submitted my PR application through PNP economic class 26 months ago. They received my file on 9th of September 2015. I did the medical exams 17 months ago and the last correspondence between us was 13 months ago, they asked me some dumb questions like "what is your filed of study for your Master's program" "who was your supervisor" and these kind of basic questions that I already included in my initial application. Also, they started my background screening 12 months ago on Nov. 2016
Anyway, I was wondering if anybody knows the worse case scenario about this ridicules waiting time? I have heard the background screening period might takes up to 19 months but do you know anybody who is waiting more than me or even worse, is there possibility of waiting more than 3 years?
