Hello guys that tried contacting CSIS,
Did you guys get any helpful response ?

I read that the communication has to be by mail only ( No Fax or Email) and response time is 8 weeks.
any drawbacks from doing so ?
I am a December 2015 applicant and my GCM notes state that everything is passed except for security check in progress still.

Waiting for 24+months is no joke.. I know how it feels at time.. N last time wen one person said she gt ppr I was so hopeful.. So just wanted to share.. Today i got decison made in Ecas.. Not sure how long wait is fr ppr? Lets hope fr the best.. And all the best to all of you.

If that is the case, I have atleast another 3 months go to!
It has already been 17 months now
It depends. I already passed 20 months and still waiting and I know many people passed even 24 months. All of us are inland applicants.congrats!

I am October 2015 applicant . PNP Ontario Inland, I have passed medical almost 1 year ago!!! Its about to expire!!!
I am on security check for almost 11 months and still no news!! (I called 3 times, wrote case specific 2 times... the answer is (IT IS WHAT IT IS)
I am single. Got asked to provice CV and name of supervisor and these stuf...
If you know someone with my issue who could solve it anyway, please let me know WHAT SHOULD I DO? Its just not fair!!

Today I receive re-medical request of my dependent after the completion of 2 years of my application. I hope that its a good sign for my application.
They don't ask me to re-medical of my self as I am in Canada may be due to this reason.
Any one else received re-medical request who applied in 2015 ?

Note that prior to December 31, 2015, processing times for many of our services were displayed by visa office. This was useful when applications for permanent or temporary residence were always processed by the nearest visa office. However, we now have the ability to move applications around our global network to ensure they are processed as efficiently as possible. This means applications may not be processed at the office closest to where the applicant lives. As a result, only overall processing information is now being reported.
This explains alot why anyone before Jan 2016 is delayed.

I have a very important question.
When you log in to online services (NOT GC KEY thing) to check status of account, what do you see next to your name that you click that takes you to the next page where the status is ?
Does it say decision made for everyone ?
