If u have had a look at the ppr email, u will find it is reasonable.Ed_nia said:Hi. Do you think it's smart and lawful doing that. I don't know but I should expect the CIC agent handling the passport to first confirm the legibility of the owner to be in-country - ie looking for a stamped Canadian visa on the passport (either active or expired). There should be a form of documentation that processed that the owner of a passport is lawfully available in Canada. Dont you think so? Even those from visa exempt countries too must have a form of documentation against their names that they are physically existing in Canada.
Well I may be wrong but just trying to think outside of the box.
Good luck though and all the best.

It varies by country's policy. I know it is not allowed to do that in India. Maybe I am wrong, not pretty sure. So I think u need to make sure if ur country has this kind of policy.prprpr said:Hi Jessica
If you don't mind me asking, what you had to do to get your spouse's passport shipped to Canada? I will have to do the same thing once my PPR is here. Could you enlighten me on that part please??
Thanks much
Hi Arjunarjun1444 said:thanks mandie , but it gets soo frustrating and take they take it to the saturation point that i guess every applicant feels the same who are still waiting for IP ..
Yes i am aware of that part (different rules in different country). I was wondering if you required any paper work from Canada's side? I wonder what would be the way to go around it if the rules prohibit shipping of passports between countries? If any one has any idea please post.Jessica_chen said:It varies by country's policy. My friend went to our home country before she got PPR email so when she was requested to send her PP she send it to me and then i send her PP to CIC but CIC returned her PP with visa stamp on her current address here in Canada which is the same in her PR app so i just took her PP in their mailbox and sent it back to her with visa stamp on it.. There seems no problem with it_123rock said:Hi jessica_ chen
