If u have had a look at the ppr email, u will find it is reasonable.Ed_nia said:Hi. Do you think it's smart and lawful doing that. I don't know but I should expect the CIC agent handling the passport to first confirm the legibility of the owner to be in-country - ie looking for a stamped Canadian visa on the passport (either active or expired). There should be a form of documentation that processed that the owner of a passport is lawfully available in Canada. Dont you think so? Even those from visa exempt countries too must have a form of documentation against their names that they are physically existing in Canada.
Well I may be wrong but just trying to think outside of the box.
Good luck though and all the best.

It varies by country's policy. I know it is not allowed to do that in India. Maybe I am wrong, not pretty sure. So I think u need to make sure if ur country has this kind of policy.prprpr said:Hi Jessica
If you don't mind me asking, what you had to do to get your spouse's passport shipped to Canada? I will have to do the same thing once my PPR is here. Could you enlighten me on that part please??
Thanks much

prprpr said:Yes i am aware of that part (different rules in different country). I was wondering if you required any paper work from Canada's side? I wonder what would be the way to go around it if the rules prohibit shipping of passports between countries? If any one has any idea please post.
