plz help

Guys i need some real guidance plz..My immigration is of fedral skilled worker with AEO filed from London.I was asked for medicals and police clearence and permanent residence fee in end of september 2007..Medicals were sent off in october 14 and police clearence and the fee last week on23rd novermber.My problem is that my wife visa for UK has been refused twice for UK and i made a appeal which got rejected as well last week..I,m on student visa in england working full time and my visa is expiring on end april 2008.My question is can i get back to india and send in my passports for visa stamping by post or through somebody as i dont know i might get some problems with the immigration if i had to come back to UK again for any chc london processing...
could any body guide...I would really appriciate..

I think your case should be wrapped up by April 2008 since your medical is already done and sent. It usually takes 3-4 months(max) for the case to be finalised after the medicals. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Well I know for sure you can't send your passports through the mail in India - it's against the law. That could also cause a problem for your wife, because if she can't send her passport, she'll have to find someone who can bring it to you.

One option .. do you have relatives or very close friends who can take your passports to the UK to be stamped?

Also, I tend to agree with Ladybug that the request for passports will probably come before April. It is cutting it close, though.

Second option .. getting another visa back to the UK. Since you'll be able to prove you're just going to get the passports stamped, it seems reasonable they should let you visit. But I don't know about UK visas per se.

ofcourse i might be able to send my and my wifes passport from india through anybody who is viting UK.Could you tell me can now they ask me anything like my medicals are now already sent in mid october 2007,updated police clearences and permanent landing fee also were sent last week..Is it not that they just need my passorts now to get it stamped.My concren is going back to india now as my wife is there and the home office has refused entry 2 times and the appeal as well...pz advise

In all likelihood, the only thing they'll want now are your passports, a few more pictures each, and a height/eye-color form.
