Ours was processed in Mississauga. If you didn't hear from them right after the transfer, then most probably, you are not getting the RQ

RQ before test is not such a bad thing after all...we applied in Jan 2012, got RQd in Aug, appeared for test March 2013 and became citizens yesterday...15 months end to end. 8)

True..what's the point in mentioning the timeline here...

Hi All, We received RQ before test ..applied in Jan 2012, got RQ in Aug, sent all the docs in Oct. Got test date and appeared for test last week..now waiting for results.

I agree..I did not receive the Health record within the permitted time frame..I sent in whatever documents I had at my disposal and was waiting for Health and CBSA records. I received the health record yesterday and am awaiting the CBSA record. Planning to mail them out both together.

Received health record in mail today..it took exactly 30 days. Still waiting for travel history from CBSA.

Hi Summer, I think the questions on the RQ are very confusing - Question 9 and 10 seemed related from what made sense to me. In question 9, they ask where have all your relatives lived since you became a PR and in question 10, they ask what was the status and what was the status in the country...

So I believe this is a new procedure..Consent for CBSA record on RQ form...I didn't have it on my RQ as well.. :(

I am still kind of worried about my case; we have kids that are US citizens and we did not apply for their citizenship; didnt know about dual citizenship at that point. I hope the citizenship judge will not infer that we are planning to move to US after getting the citizenship and give us hard...

Thanks for your reply Leon. I did not apply for the Canadian citizenship for the kids because I thought there is no need and it would cost me so much - $200 application fee for each + cost for having the Canadian passports + US passport renewals every 5 years. I did not think at that point that...

Gurdeep, In terms of job verification, at least in my case, they did not actually call my employer to verify the employment. I sent them the letter of reference with my application and after a year or so they requested the pay stubs. So I guess they mostly rely on the documentation. If you want...

I would suggest you take the test if you are confident about your French language skills. If not, then take some more classes in French since you have time until 2010. Send them the results, and that way you could rest assured that you have the chances.
