Hey JoacRy, do we need to put salary in there. Is it mentioned somewhere on CIC page, or are you suggesting based on experience?JoacRy said:No real letter as such, but it must have the following:
1) Be on company letterhead
2) State your job title
3) State the time you worked there
4) State your managers name
5) State your job responsibilities
6) State your working hrs per week
7) State your salary
That's about it really.
Yes, see point (7), in my post above. CIC only gives points for 'paid' work experience. Hence you need to state your salary.knowAndShare said:Hey JoacRy, do we need to put salary in there. Is it mentioned somewhere on CIC page, or are you suggesting based on experience?
I don't have my salary mentioned in there and getting it from previous employer is a very tedious process. I guess providing supplementary docs like official contract letter mentioning salary package, salary slips, salary increment letter should also work.JoacRy said:Yes, see point (7), in my post above. The purpose of asking for salary details is to confirm that the experience is/was a paid one. If you can provide other documents that satisfy the VO and provide evidence of paid experience, then that should be fine.knowAndShare said:I don't have my salary mentioned in there and getting it from previous employer is a very tedious process. Please let me know if anyone thinks otherwise.
Thanks,
people can't and shouldn't send you a copy of their letter. It will contain personal details of their salary, benefits, address etc and I really hope no one is going to send a stranger those details. Besides which, each letter is going to be specific to that job. You can't copy one that someone else sent in. Follow the guidelines of what needs to be included in it and you'll be fine.cooolideal said:Please guys share expereience letter or email at adeel.ahmed118@gmail.com

supervisor povided letter are acceptable? moreover we need to attach both HR letter & supervisor letter?
Hmm thanks...but as i understand da abive letter also called reference letter...and inthink we can provide the supervisor letter as reference ryt?Stanlee said:I understand your concern, therefore, I would suggest the following, you can give it a try.
1. Draft the letter with the details that you want in the letter, get your supervisor to review it and then try talking to HR explaining why the letter is required in this format. Get your supervisor also to speak to HR. Still if HR is unwilling to give you the letter in the required format, try and get the letter in whatever format they give it to you.
2. If your supervisor can give you a letter with all these details, please get the letter notarized and get a copy of his employee id and visiting card as well.
3. Prepare a Letter of Explanation (LOE) stating why you had to do the above and send everything (LOE, both the letters, emploment contract, pay stubs etc) it as part of the application package.
