Please Respond Bucharest

On 8 of May was 6 months since my husband was approved as a sponsor and our file was sent to Bucharest, recording ecas status but my file reached Bucharest only in January, because our file was sent to Ottawa first for the reasons I have no idea, any way now I am out from the time frame and I hope to receive my visa soon, it's about the time, but CIC have its mysterious ways of issuing our visas.

Also my medicals will expire very soon, hope my visa will be issued by then.

I am glad your husband was with you there most of the time during this process, very important to be together.

Let's pray your processing time of your husband file will not be as long as mine, I am quite sure it will not be

As for visit Vancover one day, for sure it's going to happen one day, I'll let you know.

I am sure that any day now you should get the visa....but because your 6 months finish i think you should sent them an email ... sometimes helps....just as a reminder...especially because you are getting close to the expiration of your medical and the visa will be valid until the date of medical....so try you have nothing to lose....anyway you waited for so long....and normally the term of 6 months means all process from filling to receiving your passport with visa. (sending passport few days, passport in the embassy max 2 weeks, receiving it back few days = like 3-4 weeks max). So in this case you are over the time limit. Well hope to see you in Van on day. i think i have good news..... on the 3 may the status was: "we received your application ....on 16 december 2011" and nothing else.
today i was checking and was: " we received your application....on 16 dec 2011. MEDICAL RECEIVED.
so i do think that something move is something new... now what you think? how much longer?????until the request for the passport

Hey Danap,

This is a great news, they say the status of ''medicals received'' it's the first stage after a decision it's been already made but it takes a while for the paper work stuffs, people on the forum say that it takes only one month after that and you get passport request.

I had this update on 24 April.

Let's hope so it's true ;D

I will update you when I will know more about my status.

Also you are right about sending to the VO once again an email, it's good to insist a little bit more after so long, my visa will not be valid any more with out a valid medical test .

PS It feels so good when you check your status on ecas and you see that it's changed, you see that they are really moving forward

My opinion you should give them a call because as i see your medical expires on 23 june which means that you are allowed to enter canada until on 23 june your visa will be valid until 23 june so go for it .. ;D ;D ;D and hope to hear from you soon CANADA HERE I COME By the way beautiful area Maramures.
And i do believe next week to have an answer for the passport...one month is to long. When i got my residence after medical received in 3 days i got the letter asking for my passport so anything is possible. That is why you should go for it...call them.

I send a email to my lawyer with the update from the system and i am waiting next week for his info.
Yes for sure next weeks we will have the letter asking for the passport. Because i do believe that the update of the system is actually the answer to my email that i sent 4 days ago. I sent one last week they did not answer and then i sent again still no answer but they update it which is the best answer. So lets make a bet i say that we will receive the letter by ......miercuri ;D ;D ;D latest next Monday.
So looking forward for great news from you next week

I was wondering after you see in your file "medical received" what comes next:
- "in process" or
- they will send the letter for the passport or
- DM
And usually from "medical received" to the next step how long is the wait?
Because so far from what i see on this forum i am confuse still don,t know.

I can,t believe that is still nothing.....I am sad....I see that Bucharest now is moving so slow ...somebody i know apply last year in march and landed in Canada on end of may last year.....so what about now????? why is taking so long?????
