You will need to apply as per the information provided on this website.

You fingerprinted documents and other documents need to be sent to the FBI in the US. I am waiting for mine too.

The FBI website site is currently reporting 5 to 6 weeks, it's usually pretty accurate. They will mail it anywhere in the world.

Once you've gotten your application into the FBI, send CIC an email informing them of the date you applied at that it may take several weeks.

Late February, I sent my request for FBI PCC, and they received it on the 25th of February. The took my money on March 21, and mailed it out to me on March 29. So in all, I think the processing took about 4 weeks, but 5 weeks before they mailed it out to me, and 6 weeks before I got it back (snail-mail).

I agree with JES_ON and the other information all the other advisors have shared. It is all accurate.

I submitted my finger prints on the 8 of april, they must have received it on the 14 of april and I am still waiting as there is no news as yet.

Well, I provided them with my credit card, so I knew when they took out my money. This date when they took my money corresponded to the date when processing was completed (March 21 was when they took out the money, March 21 was when they completed searching the database, and March 22 was the date my PCC was generated).

Also, I did not include a prepaid courier envelope, so I actually got it back about 2 or 3 days late. So you may want to include a prepaid courier envelope (like FedEx or UPS) so they can use it to send it back to you (and this would probably save about 3 or maybe 4 days), but I don't think you could've done anything to make the processing any faster (in my case, processing was happening from Feb 25 to March 21, even if you provide US address, I don't think this process could have been shortened). You will still have to wait at least five weeks to get it back.

Can I ask why do you need a PC from FBI? I am mexican living in Canada. thanks
You will need FBI PCC if you have lived in the United States for more than 6 months since the age of 18.

Thank u very nice explanation ..last question for u I submitted FBI certificate when I applied 15 months ago but wasn't based in fingerprints from FBI Colorado state USA ..I am assuming they just used my name and date of birth to look for any criminal actions.. Is that reason why they sent me a certificate in a week instead of 5 weeks that takes based in fingerprints?

I used to live in the Washington state, and when I requested for PCC from WA several months, they did not require fingerprints.

I'm assuming it must be the same in Colorado as well? Note that state PCC is NOT what they want. What they want is the FBI police certificate, not a state PCC, which most likely you can obtain just by using name and date of birth.
