For what purpose or before what happens? Your question doesn't make any sense otherwise. Canadians can stay out of the country their entire lives, if they wish. So can a PR - but different consequences for PR status.

I have a query instead i am a bit confused about it. Please help me clarifying my query.
While filling the forms, during documentation process i had chosen Regina as my preferred location in Saskatchewan province however after sometime I realised Saskatoon is better place to stay at. And now in COPR, Regina is mentioned there.
Can someone please help if only Regina we need to land and stay at or we can choose saskatoon as well.
Will appreciate your thoughts, @legalfalcon please help...

With a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR) you can enter, live, study or work anywhere in Canada
Won't matter at all UNLESS there is some specific language or engagement that you made to specifically settle in Regina (which I've never heard of and I don't think any province has such a thing). If you did, it would be quite explicit.
So, really, no, it does not matter.

The city is of not much relevance, it is the Province that matters if you are a PNP nominee. If you are not a PNP nominee, then the Province also doe snot matter.
After you are admitted to Canada as a PR, you can reside anywhere in Canada, which is your charter right.
