Dear friends,

I am SAP applicant of 2007. (pre Feb 08)

Last October I have received medical request and request of updated proof of funds, police certificates, and background activity forms since Aug '09 (since I have sent the docs). I have sent everything by October the 30th. The docs reached the VO in Vienna 02 of Nov 2012, and medicals even earlier.

Since then I received nothing, until yesterday. I received an email stating:

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

We confirm receipt of your new medical examination results.

In order to proceed with the processing of your application you must:

- Please up-date questions 8 and 12 in Schedule A for you since August 2009 - for you and your spouse http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5669E.pdf (practically the background activity forms I've sent)

- Please submit new original police certificate from Kosovo - or any other country where you have lived for 6 months or longer since August - please consult http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

- Please present up-dated proof of settlement funds of at least 13,837 CAD or equivalent
-Please provide evidence of the payment of the Right of Permanent Residence Fee -RPRF, for you and your spouse - please consult the fee payment instructions at www.kanada.at ; http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/austria-autriche/visas/fees-frais.aspx?lang=eng&view=d

- Please provide this office with photocopies of your original passports ( the page containing the passport details - for each applicant.)

- Please confirm your recent mailing address

-Please confirm your marital status and family status ( e.g. marriage, divorce, birth of children etc.) please notify us immediately by e-mail. mail or fax as this might affect the issuance of your visa.

Subsection 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, 2001 states that all questions pertaining to an immigration application must be answered truthfully. The applicant must produce all relevant evidence and documents that the examining officer reasonably requires.

The information and/or documentation we have requested must be provided to us within two months of the date on this letter. If documents have been requested, please provide originals or certified true copies. All documents not in English or French must be accompanied by a certified English or French translation.

Please note that failure to provide the above requested information and/or documentation will result in the assessment of your case on the basis of the incomplete information on your file. This may lead to the refusal of your application.

Now, what I do not understand: why are they asking me again to send Proof of funds and background activity info and adresses?

I guess I should just go on and send everything over again, plus the extras.

I am not sure if I should prepare the Schedule A question 8 and 12 forms by myself on Word, and sign it, or should I use the complete Schedule A form with everything on it?

I also am not sure about marital status confirmation: do I need to send them an email confirming that nothing changed on my family status, or should I write it on a letter and send it together with the docs?

Thank you!

Swan

Hi Swan,

Congratulations.... :)

Also add a cover letter with the information about which forms/additional docs you have included. You may re confirm your marital status in the letter. Leave no spaces empty in the forms and sign and date them.

Good Luck.
