Hi! :'(

here's the situation.. we applied for extension on my son's tourist visa.. but somehow they said we still lack documents and
CPC-Veg refused the extension.. ("not satisfied,etc..")

background:
-we are not form visa-exempt country
-CPC already sent us the letter that his application is refused
-we did not submit sponsorship yet, as we were waiting that his extension be approved then we'll submit..but this happened..
-we already booked his flight and sending him home so that he won't be illegal here (which is the best I think) I don't know?????

my question is,
what are my son's chances of coming back?
what are his chances of traveling to another country with this refusal?
is this a big offense under Canada's immigration laws?

please.. any information is really appreciated.. my son is still 23 he has a long way to go and a future..
Is it destroyed because of this refusal?? :'(

No need to worry. An application for extension turned down is not a crime :).

is there any chance that he can come back? and/or travel to other countries for that matter?
i am just concerned because I read in the Canadian border website..
is this a removal order? because from what I read when you have a removal order from a country it will be difficult for you to travel..
its just so confusing... :'(

A refusal of extension of status is not a removal or deportation order. Nothing to worry about in terms of the PR application. It's very likely he won't be able to return to Canada before the PR application is finalised (as they won't issue a visitor visa after he's been required to leave), but it shouldn't be a problem in the long run. It might cause issues traveling to other countries - some ask if you've ever been required to leave another country - the US comes to mind.

I'm in a similar situation... I had applied to renew my mums visitor record but a week after I sent it my mum received a job offer and LMO. I was informed by CIC that I could send the work permit application to USA and inform them that she had sent her application for renewal for visitor record.

A month later we received a letter refusing her renewal for visitor record and a week later her work permit application also got refused saying she had no ties in Canada (I, her daughter live and work in Canada), insufficient funds (we opened a bank account joint name), etc...

Now I have to send her back to india and I dont know how to get her back... her LMO is still valid (even if she went back to India)... she has no bank account there, so if she were to apply she would not be able to show proof of funds.

This is such a mess... i don't even know what to do...
