Please help - Two rejections, could spouse IELTS cause 3rd?!

Hi All,

My PR applications have been rejected twice, I'm being extra cautious to avoid another rejection specially that I will lose my provincial nomination!

My Wife's IELTS results expired after submitting my EE profile and before receiving an ITA. I have 968 points due to receiving a provincial nomination. Does my spouse need to re-take the IETLS? Or since I have enough points should I just address it in the LOE? Is there a risk of getting rejected for this?!

You have little room for errors at this point. I'd say be safe and get another IELTS asap.

Thanks, what if its impossible to do it and get the results before my provincial nomination expires?

I'd say, still get the IELTS done asap (even if you won't get results before your pn expires). While submitting your application, explain your specific circumstances and the steps you've taken to be in compliance.

As long as your CRS score is still above the ITA score without her IELTS, it will not have any effect on your app.

Good point, I didn't realize that IELTS for spouse/dependents is optional in EE.
