Hi Everyone I really hope I can get some suggestions or anything you know or think here.
I am sponsoring my husband he is currently in Mexico and it has already been 15 months since we sent our application for sponsorship. Now we are pregnant and due December 29th. But they have made some stupid mistakes. Immigration ( the embassy of Canada in Mexico )is charging him $1500 dollars because he supposively owes money for the ticket when he left which is not true so we sent the proof of that 3 weeks ago. Also they say he has to pay 400$ processing fee for not leaving when he was ordered to due so which is also false and we have the proof of that and that he did check in with an immigration officer at the airport. He was here as a refugee.
Because of that they ask for a letter explaining why there are special considerations wich would justify his return to Canada. ( Has any one ever done a letter like this?). Because I know that for refugees sometime things work a bit differntly and he might have to write it anyways.
And have they ever made that mistake with you before like charging you a ticket they never payed for or saying you didnt leave on time. Thank God we had all those documents.
I don't understand why they take so long in responding it has already been 3 weeks and yet nothing.
I appreciate any answers Thank you and good luck to all
