Yes you folks are lucky.
there are lots of folks from 2010 and 2011, whose sponsorship files have not been approved or have not yet received Medical or PCC
i have applied in 2011. very simple application, strong financial background of sponsor and co-signer, small family in canada (total of 3) and sponsoring just father and mother, no dependents.
Application was filled up 100 accurately with out an mistakes. all supporting documents provided
as of today file is in Process no word yet from CIC, as of today its 5 years, its not me alone there are lots of folks like me
Dasoju,
First of all, I feel the frustration of 2008-11 years' applicants. I also think their files, considering they met all requirements, should have been processed before 2014-16 files. But it's only CIC you can blame for this. I had high regards for you especially when you maintain a Google Word for your fellow applicants. But when you bring this down to one simple thread where the poster only asked a single question, this is not acceptable. Moreover, you tried to add fuel to fire by posting his topic into 2010 and 2011 thread.
Have you ever considered these:
1) There are still some applications pending from 2008-09 period. By your rule, none of 2010-11 applications should have been processed before those got finalized.
2) Any PGP sponsor only had to provide income proof for 1 year prior to 2014. I consider this "lucky". Besides, it was only about meeting LICO, not LICO+30%.
3) Have you ever considered yourself lucky when you submitted the application right before CIC paused the whole program for 2 years? Many who applied after were waiting for 2012 & 2013 to apply. I was one of them.
4) So, when it re-opened, many found that they need to meet income requirements for 3 years (not only for 1 year). Again, I was one of them and hence had to apply in 2015.
5) And there is the quota system now. It started with 5,000 only where CIC used to get 20,000-25,000 PGP application each year. How do you call this "lucky"?
6) I hope you heard about the hurdle that all post-2014 applicants had to overcome just to make the quota. One's application needs to reach CPC-M within first few hours.
7) Finally, the processing has changed as the requirements have changed. We submit both sponsorship and PR application all together to CPC-M. This obviously expedites the processing.
If I had applied in 2011 and my file was pending, I would also get little frustrated seeing 2016 applicants getting processed faster. But I would never blame them for it. No one knew that CIC would unfold it's PGP processing like this. I'm happy to see 2016 files getting processed this fast and hope CIC stays on same path for upcoming years.
