Guys, I as you all know Parents Sponsership Program is going to Reopen in January 2014. I am Single and Currently living in Regina, Saskatchewan. I became Permanent Resident in September 2013. I have been in Canada since August 2010. Currently I am working full time as an Accountant in well established Company in Regina from June 2012 and my annuam income currently is $ 44,000. Before June 2012 my annual salary was close to $ 28,000.

I also have started working on Part time basis at $ 11.25/hr from last month and I am expecting to make approximately $ 1200 per month from Part time work.

I have wish to Sponser my Parents as I am the only Son in my family and they are alone now as my father has retired from services and my mother is housewife. I also have plans to get marry sometime in next two months but my priority right now is to be eligible to Sponser my parents.

Can someone please advise whether I could qualify to Sponser my parents or not in Canada based on my details ? If not how can I qualify ?When would be the forms available for Sponsership program ?

Thanks friends !

You don't make enough income to qualify.

Well, i just wish to know if I could qualify with some added information such as Part time Income and so on....but thanks for information once again...

The total income has to be equal to or more than the new LICO.

If your option-C "total income" is above that for 3 yrs, only then you can apply.
Ofcourse when you declare extra income you will pay the tax accordingly...

Yes - you can certainly add part time income as long as this income is declared on your Canadian tax return.

However as Rob_TO explained in his original response, you need income of close to $46,500 to qualify to sponsor your parents. In addition, you must make enough income for three years in a row working in Canada to qualify.

Based on this, you don't make enough income now. Once you start making enough income, you will have to wait until you have earned this income for three years in Canada before you will be able to sponsor your parents.

In other words, right now you are still at least three years away from qualifying to sponsor your parents.
