HI My name is Willis. I am newbie here. I am working for North York community. There are many thing I already completed to help community better. However, last week I have a client to come to community to ask for help. She does not know how to fill out the form to extend the work permit. She ask me to do it. I try it but there are some problem.

1) She was refugee, and her passport was seized by government. and the passport is also expired.
2) She want to apply a new job. Not the same one.

I try to complete the form for her but until the section to fill out the passport number, I realized that she don't have passport because she was refugee and her old photo passport is expired.. That is why the form can not generate the code. Dear Sir/ Madam. What can I do in this case... We have only refugee recognition paper, Claimant paper and the old work permit.

Use the same passport information but for the expiry date use todays date, its ok they know this problem and it works with no issues, if you want you can explain why you used todays date in a letter , but as i said its ok.

Even if the passport expired and seized by the government but still she can use it wherever a passport info was required. She can always explain if further questions raised afterwards.
