Please help me!!!

I will really appreciate any help or advice on any options regarding my situation.
I came as an international student and completed 3 years of study. I got my post graduate work permit. Problem is it will expire in 2 months. I am currently employed in a NOC B (position) Job, will be 1 year in this position in May 2016. But my employer does not give an LMO and from what i have gathered an lmo is required for express entry. My employer wants to extend my contract but cannot without a work permit extension. They have already written a letter and offer of employment for me. I really love this job and would not want to leave it. Is there a way to apply for an extension of work permit without lmo, or what options do i have to stay in Canada? Is there a way to apply for PR without lmo? What are my options???

When was your PGWP issued?

It was issued in july 2013 and will expire end of june.I complete my one year work experience in may.

You can get enrolled in some study course if you want to stay in Canada and apply for study permit, or you can apply for visitor permit. All these are short term solutions. Try getting LMIA in the mean time. Remember, you won't get PGWP again even if you get study permit.

Permanent solution- marry a Canadian citizen.

Thanks for the reply.But how will i obtain the LMIA when my company wont give me?Arent people getting picked in the express entry with 400 points and above?i know i qualify for up to 470.

Hey,

Sorry if I am missing anything. Lmia is not mandatory. I mean you would not get 600 points but u can be in the pool like all of us. Why are u not in the pool? If your score is above 460, you are in a not bad situation.

Well thats good. You qualify under fsw as of now.

You still didn't answer if you have already made the profile or not. If not, I would recommend to make one ASAP. The most important thing to make EE profile is Language Test result and I hope you already have one.

@manidhatt thank you.I'm writing my test really soon.How long do the results take to come out?and the fact that i almost have the 1 year Canadian experience in Noc B doesn't that count too?it will be a year after next month.

Depends what exam you're writing. If you're going for Ielts, you get results on fortnight. Also, if your PGWP expires before you have 52 weeks of experience then you won't be eligible under CEC.

@manidhatt my Permit expires a month after the 52 weeks.So i guess id qualify for it.So do i go ahead and make the profile just after the test?
