I'm an international student from Saudi Arabia I have been in Canada for 4 years I just graduated from my master in Canada and I'm gonna start my PhD in September I'm scholarship from the government of saudi Arabia.
My problem is my spouse is Syrian citizen but he has been in Saudi Arabia for 12 years. In 2012 he applied for TRV from Saudi Arabia, and he got refused on December, 2012 considers several factors; including travel history and family ties. However, his situation has changed. he has been in Turkey, United Arab Emirates and United States. Also, his family moved from Syria to Saudi Arabia. Also, the most important change we are getting married in August (I'm a Saudi Arabian citizenship.)
(We don't have marriage certificate yet.We will get it in August) so, we don't have prove for our relationship and i want him to get his visa to start his school in Sep like me. (I already have study permit.)
I have financial support from the saudi government that will cover registration, tuition fees and health insurance as well as monthly stipend for me and my spouse( his name isn't mention in the letter they only said spouse .
He wants to study English i got him an acceptance letter for English from my university.
so what are his chances?
Is it easier to apply him a visitor visa or a student visa?
any help or suggestion plz.
