I am filling out the form for my wife

Question #4 Imigration Office requested for processing this application

I put the name of her country for that question. Is this correct?

I just put her mailing mailing address. Is is right?..

Can I put my address which is in Canada because I want all the documents to be sent to me instead of to her? .. because she doesn't know English.

Is this outland application? If so, yes.

Ahhh .. what is the difference between outland and inland application.. .. I'm living in Canada.. and my wife is from an Asian country, so which one suits my situation ?

Is your wife with you here in Canada? If not, you MUST choose 'outland'. If she is here with you, you can apply outland which is faster BUT if called for an interview it would be in her home country. With inland, she can get an OWP (open work permit) after Stage 1 approval however she cannot LEAVE Canada for the duration of the application, for emerg, family issues, nothing.

If you want everything to come to you and/or to your address, I'd suggest also completing and submitting an IMM5476 (Use of a Representative) the representative being "you", which also authorizes you to speak to CIC on behalf of your wife. We did the same, although I never needed to call.

for outland, you need to find out which Visa Office is handling requests for your wife's country. It may or may not be the same country.

for example: if your wife is in Japan, I think the VO is Manilla.
