PLEASE HELP - Italian police certificates

Hi,

I am trying to get the Italian police certificates.
Back in April I sent the request form with the money order to Rome but have not heard back from them.

Has anyone gotten the Italian PCC? Could you tell me the fastest way to get it?

I heard about this website italycertificates.com
they want Euro 320 to get the docs but I am not sure if they are the real deal as they want me to send the money via Western Union to “Veronica Ferrante”.

Anyone? Advice please?

Hi there,

you can reserve them on line on Ministero della Giustizia website,
but you will still have somebody to go and collect for you with "delega". This is the quick way.
I will not trust anybody that ask you so much money...in Italy is usual that they steel money and maybe give you a fake one or just disappear.

Hi, i am italian and i have got my PC in twenty minutes at "questura" in Rome office. It costs 45 € and you can send somebody else on your behalf with "delega" form.


Anyone? Advice please?

Could you give me more details on how to reserve the italian PCCs? from the Ministero della Giustizia?
I just realized I have a friend in Rome who could pick it up for me.
Do you have a template for a delega? Do I have to notarize it in Canada and send it to my friend or a scanned copy will be enough?

Do you have a Delega template? what else should my friend take to the Ministero della Giustizia (the signed request letters)?
Do I have to notarize the Delega here in Canada and send it to my friend?

You can ask for certificates by mail too sending them your ID photocopy
Pushing on top at "moduli" you'll find all that you need

Then you have to provide "certificato dei carichi pendenti"
You can find it out on the same website

Thanks for the website. I already had a look at it. However they do not mention clearly where to send the application and money order. And how we can send money from abroad (though they say not cash but alternate method is not clearly mentioned...whether we should send a band demand draft? )

And should we attach any letter / covering letter along with the application form?

If you have a friend in Rome,
just fill out the "delega" you should find it on the website where you authorize your friend to ask this documents for you and send it to him by e mail with a copy of your passport.
Send him the money, there is an emergency process, it cost you 1 marca da bollo of euro 3.54 more for each certificate.
He can go and ask for directly and they will issue the certificates in a couple of days.
It cost you for each certificate 1 marca da bollo euro 16.00 and another euro 3.54 or around, plus the urgency one of the same amount.
Mailboxes etc is a fast service and safe for delivering documents, around 2 business days and it should cost around 35.00 Euro

After some digging I found the 'delega'

It does not specify which document you need but I think my friend in Rome will just need to tell the officer in the Procura della Repubblica that I need

(1) The Certificato del casellario giudiziale [Certificate from the Judicial Records Register]
(2) Certificato dei carichi pendenti [certificate of outstanding criminal proceedings]

Also, my friend will have to show the 'delega' and a copy of my passport.

The fees to be paid are:
EURO 3.68 (certificate fee) +
EURO 16.00 (stamp duty) +
EURO 3.68 (urgency fee)

or 23.36 for each document (EURO 46.72 total)

My last questions are: The 'delega' form does not need to be notarized here in Canada? Can I just email the signed delega form to my friend or he needs to have the original?

And what if we don't have a friend who is in Rome right now :'(? How can we get this done through the post?

Can we send the forms directly to the Tribunale Rome? Anyone who has done it by post and can guide ...please help..

CIC has updated the police certificates required from Italy.

As I understand, we can get police certificates from any procura in Italy. I tried by post to Rome but never got the documents. Now, I will try to get them through a friend.

NO where they mention where to mail the application form to? the address

Also for people outside Italy how and wat form of Delega do we need to send along with the application? How do we make the required fees..in form of foriegn money order / bank draft?

Please anyone who is not an Italian citizen, who has procured a PCC from Italy while staying away from Italy...kindly share your experience here and guide us on how to go about the process.
