My dominican husbands application for permanent residency was being finalized and ready to issue visa for him to come to canada and then the earthquake hit in Haiti and they say they are now prioritizing Haitian applications and I now fear that they he now won't get to Canada for a long time due to this tragedy. does anyone know anything about this? the CIC website only mentions about the Haitian applications.
Thank-you so much for your help, Carla

If they said they are ready to issue the visa the application processing has been finalized, so they just need to stick the visa into the passport. You should be ok.

So, the consulate continues working???, I want to deposit my application with my CSQ, I have to wait or what?, Somebody can helps me?
