I was born canadian. I lived all my life outside of canada. I got married and after 6 months of marriage, my husband and i decided to go through spouse sponsorship procedures so we can move to canada.
We thought the best way is for me to go to canada and apply from there.
I went to canada and found a job and applied to sponsoring my spouse and then i received my approval of being a sponsor then the approval to sponsor my husband in quebec, but still we have not had an answer from the local embassy that reviews our file. It has been 5 months now since i first applied.

I am very depressed living here alone without my husband. I feel like my life is being drained. He cannot come with a visit visa, he can only come here if he received the PR
I want to leave canada and return and stay with him until we get the acceptance, but i do not know of this will negatively affect my file.
Please advise me.
Thank you.

I would suggest that you list what visa office you are going through. Most visa offices have waiting times of over 10 months, so sadly 5 months is actually quite a short amount of time. No office is listed under 8 months, and some are at over 30. I would check here for processing times:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp

However, I do understand your anxiety. I have gone over the 5 month mark myself, and am starting to feel antsy.

My country states 19 months maximum. 19 months sound funny to me. I would die.
It has been 5 months since i applied and 8 months since i arrived to canada. My heart aches and i cannot take it any longer staying alone without my husband. I would love to go back and stay with him until he is granted entrance.

hank you.

You are a Canadian you can go live with your husband. You could have also applied from where you were. I know the feeling of living apart your life feels so upside down . Like Applicant 7 said it depends on what visa office you applied from most are over 6 months .Hold in there it will be worth it in the end, not easy from taffy 7 who just wants to through in the towel and move back with my husband. No it won't affect your file .

yes i hate it . I was back for a visit just a month ago and i feel it has been for ever. If i tell him how i feel he will just say pack it in come home, as i am from where he is right now . I have become a hermit and the stress is killing me . I am also limited on vacation time .

I can't afford too . If i won the lotto i would be back tomorrow, but without my job when and if my husband gets here someone has to put food on the table and keep a roof over our heads. I also have two adult children living with me and i need to pay the mortgage . Really if i could afford it i would.

Hello, I am a Canadian citizen sponsoring my husband. We applied from Czech Republic where we lived together because like you we didn't want to be apart for so long. 3 weeks ago I moved to Canada to start a job and I am waiting for my husband to hopefully join me soon since this has already been the 14th month. I wish you the best of luck, I know how you feel!

If you are a Canadian citizen, you can live abroad while the application is in process. Only PRs need to be living in Canada.

If you want, move back to be with your husband. You will need to inform CIC of your address change. I think you can do that online even.

Also, if you are living abroad you need to prove your intent to move back to Canada when your spouse receives PR. Since you have already applied and from what I understand you were living in Canada at the time maybe you didn't include this in your application. Perhaps the VO office won't ask for this information if you move back to be with your husband. However, I would be prepared just in case they do ask for it.

Moving back to stay sometime with my husband would only be a kind of a long vacation. I actually came to canada all alone to prove my true intention of moving into here. But i do not know if leaving my job would affect my file in a bad way. What do you think?
I am only thinking of quitting because i cannot have long vacations of work and i can't help it, i am feeling so down and lonely.
