Hi All

Im a 33 year old male from sri lanka living in colombo.

Im doing my Bsc(Hons) Information Technology. Im in my final year. Im planing to migrate to Canada under Skilled Worker / Professional Immigration. I already have 8 years experience as a software developer.

My question is: I have been refused for UK working holiday maker visa 4 years back (in Oct 2004) , Is that my visa refusal to UK affect my canadian PR Process in any other way. If so what i do? kindly help me.

Your advise will realy help me...

Thanks in advance

Yes I know the reason for the refusal. I was refused under 2 circumstances (Funds and my circumstances) those are below as in my visa refusal document:

Funds
You state you have sufficient funds to take with you however your savings book
shows that there has always been a modest amount in your account until recently
when you desposited large sums into this account as you were unable to credibly
explain the origin of these funds. I cannot be satisfied that that this is a true
reflection of your circuamstances and that this money will be available to you
whilst you are in the UK.

Your circumstances
I note that you have never previously taken a holiday, an where unable to
describe in any detail the sights you wish to see in the United Kingdom. It is
only reasonable to expect you to have at least researched some aspects of the
country in which you intended to spend two years. In view of your background and
circumstances in Sri Lanka, I am not satiffied that your intentions are those of
a tourist who principaly intends to take an extended holiday.Although you named a few places in the UK that you wished to visit, i am not satisfied that the information you have provided has not been learned by heart and repeated verbatim solely in the attempt to support your visa application. This casts doubts on your intentions in the UK.
You have been employed in Sri Lanka for a number of years, and I do not find it
credible that at this stage of your life you should seek to go abroad on holiday
for two years. Neither have you satisfied me that you will be able to resume
your employment after such a protracted absence. I consider it unrealistic that
you would jeopardise your career for the sake of a holiday.

above is the reason they refused my UK Visa..but they said I can appeal against their decision and provided me a appeal form..but i did not appeal as I got busy with my projects in my job.

Hope the info is sufficient enough to give me a clear advise.

Thanks in advance
