Education: 112 (B.Tech - 4 Year degree)
Language: 119 (CLB 10, 9 ,9, 9)
Spouse: 20 (12 for language, 8 for education)
Skill transferability: 75 for foreign work experience and language.

My EE Score out of 600 is 438 (without spouse's ECA).

Age: 34
IELTS: R-9, L-9, W-7, S-7.5
Education: Masters (expecting ECA report by mid Jan)
Spouse's IELTS: R-6, L-7.5, W-6.5, S-6.5
Experience: >5 years

If I get my spouse's ECA done, I can get 10 more points. But not planning that at the moment.

Just curious how high the chance is to be selected if I scored 451 (mostly pumped up by CLB10/10/10/11).

I am considering applying for travel VISA and go job hunting. Submitting to EE will definitely kill travel VISA application, so I am not sure if I should try the January lottery. Thanks.

2. With IELTS 8/7/7/7 or more
You get really high scores from skill transferability factors and have very high possibility to be selected.

Ms. Y : Single, Master, 29yo, 3 year work exp, CLB 7998 (IELTS 7/7/7/6.5 which is not hard)
FSW2014: 23+12+11+21 = 67
EE: 135+110+102 + 25 + 25 = 397

Average IELTS bands on SS is about 7.2 so we can see from SS that many many people can have same qualification as Ms.Y, or even better. I think Ms. Y is a typical youngster who decides to immigrate to Canada so we are not surprised to see many people get over 400 points.

And i have freelance experience of 3 yrs for asp.net trainer and 3 months freelancer for yellow cab express.

IELTS is mandatory requirement for creation of EE profile. Further more, good IELTS score brings you extra points in Skill Transferability category, which significantly improves your chances of being elected in EE draw.

You have to apply with spouse( if you have a spouse) regardless of whether you are claiming point for the spouse.

390 if applying with spouse
397 as single applicant.

Good score. Did you get ECA & IELTS done for spouse? Otherwise, you cant count those number in.
