Madami nga pong requirements..magastos din ???. Pero sa tingin ko po kailangan nating i-try talaga na maging licensed..kahit isang try lang. At least nagtry di ba. Sabi po sa free orientation ng "CIIP" at "COA" kung ano ang unang work ng isang immigrant usually un na ung work niya for life. Huhuhu.

NCLEX? Ayaw ko na po ma encounter word na yan ;D Expire na NCLEX ko at hanggang ngaun nandito parin ako Pinas. Tsktsk.

Thanks for the info. Ang tagal palang dumating ng assessment ng Board of Nursing (14 months! Whaaa) kala ko mabilis. Buti kapa nakapag pa-assess ka na.
Sana nga dumating na MR mo. Stressful nga ung situation mo...daming deadlines. Hehe. Pero at least may assessment ka naman.

Yes, thanks for the info. Nabasa ko now may so called Standard Error of Measurement or SEM sa IELTS ng Saskatchewan Nursing and LPN- "a score 0.5 above and below will be considered". pero mataas parin ung requirement para sa akin.
Tanong po sa mga nurses sa forum na eto. May mga nag start na po ba inyong mag pa asssess sa Board of Nursing ng Sask? Kailangan po bang mag Bridging Program? Thanks po.

hi chinay just reading some of the posts dito , rn din ako sa pinas may ongoing app sa canada, alberta. ongoing din ielts review ko pra makapag apply na for SEC? im sorry naguguluhan ako eh heheh ano ba ung bridging prog? meron din ba non sa province ng alberta? i know it differs from provinces.. db pwd sit in for CRNE na agad heheh sorry masyado yata magaspang or mayabang heheh di ko naman kaya , worried lang ako andami pla dadaanan bago maging RN jan, unlike US talaga.

I hope makahanap pa ako posts dito kagaya ko din queries heheh

If pumasa tayo sa SEC assessment proceed agad sa board exam (CRNE) nila. If not, mag aaral tayo additional nursing education in the form of “Bridging Program”
May mga pinoy applicants claiming na go na sila sa CRNE. (If true..suerte sila!)

ii. iii. The application is refused and the applicant is not eligible for registration. naku chinay, mabilis pa yung sa akin. yung sa cousin ng husband ko na nurse nakaalis na sya at naka 1 year ng nagwowork sa canada until now hindi pa lumlabas results ng assessment nya. inapply nya yun before sya umalis dito ha. marami rin syang kinukwento na nandoon na naghihintay pa rin ng assessment. sa kanya nga ako nagka idea na magpa assess ng maaga kaso MR ko naman ang mabagal. naiinip na sya at nagbabalak ng mag-NCLEX at lumipat na lang sa US after niyang maging citizen.

**parepareho tayo ng concerns nurses...girls share ko lng ng konti..bast each provinces regulated... RN or LPN man ang target niyo kailangan dumaan sa mabusising screening nila....pag na approve ang assessement or screening nga tsaka ka lang eligible to write the exam... ang requirements nila usually HOURS of NURSING EDUCATION, HOURS OF WORK, ENGLISH PROF....


**before kse nagbigay sila ng RN LPN exam sa PINAS ( yes dito po sa ortigas ) and that exam was RN and LPN for manitoba... yung pinsan ko umabot sa RN exam ako ang inabutan ko yung LPN exam.... that time they require na mag english exam muna before the exam..yung exam was TOEIC ( very easy naman siya compared sa IELTS ).... happy na pumasa ako pareho kaya lang...DI ko tinuloy application ko for Manitoba that time.... for registration na lang ako..I tried to contact manitoba and yun nga for registration na lang daw ako no need to write the exam ulit...kaso parang ayoko na pumta ng manitoba..gusto ko sakatchewan sana...i'll contact them pa the LPN regulatory kung possible ilipat ko sa kanila ang registration.... ang matindi nga lang is that ang taas ng IELTS required nila ngayon...

** ang mahirap is pag di sila satisfied sa HOURS of experience mo Bridging program ka nga talaga.....

Tumawag ako sa SRNA (saskatchewan Reg Nurses Asso) sabi sa akin, 7 in RSW and 7.5 daw sa Listening. Actually, 3rd degree ko na ang Nursing kaya wala ako masyado exposure sa hospital, ilang months lang...volunteer pa. Tanong ko sila paano if wala ako syado exposure sa ospital. Pero sabi sa akin ng SRNA hours of duty lang daw noong student ako ang e-count nila. Naka pa register na nga ako sa NCLEX, set aside ko muna para sa IELTS na to kasi parang ang taas ng required score nila. Mas mabilis yata ang maging nurse sa US kaysa sa Canada ah, kung di lang talaga dahil sa retrogression. hehehe.
Sabi ng father-in-law ko kasi doctor sia sa saskatoon, andami daw nag reretire na nurses doon, hundreds daw....much more daw this year. So, sobrang in demand daw ang nurses ngayon sa saskatoon...lagi lagi nga daw sa tv narereport ang demand ng nurses.

mukha namang ikinonsider nila sa assessment ko yung mga duty hours na yun kasi sa listahan ng requirements either of the 3 in the list lang yung hours...pasok naman sa graduated within 5years...kaya siguro exam at clinical sa med-surg na lang yung pinapa-complete sa akin.
naabot ko pa yung mababang IELTS score before Nov 5 2010 kaya pag nag expire yung IELTS ko sa Aug 2012, patay ako baka di ko na kayanin yung 7.5 ng listening! ;D

mukha namang ikinonsider nila sa assessment ko yung mga duty hours na yun kasi sa listahan ng requirements either of the 3 in the list lang yung hours...pasok naman sa graduated within 5years...kaya siguro exam at clinical sa med-surg na lang yung pinapa-complete sa akin.

How long do u think that Saskatchewan PNP program to remain open?
