Hi Guys! Please allow me to join this forum. I'm also interested in Saskatchewan. Nurse din po ako. No relatives in Saskatchewan but would like to go there because of the positive feedback I've read about the province. ;)

I've seen lots of jobs available in Saskatchewan sa web but any luck with applying while still here in Pinas? Na-try nio po bang mag apply while still here?

hi chinay,
i tried looking for jobs while still here kaso pag tiningnan mo yung requirements lalo na sa nurses mukhang walang pagasang makakuha dahit dapat licensed nurse or at least may GN license... i dont know baka merong may ibang experience kasi baka hindi ko lang tinatyaga...umaasang dumating na muna ang MR ;D

i notice 2 ang NOC mo, paano yun?

hi.. would like to ask wat are the requirements kapag mag take ng exam ng CRNE for nurses if you're immigrant?. i'm planning kasi to take this year..thanks po

Hi CP3isaIII,

Kasi nurse ako at nag clinical instructor din. Kaya NOC ko for nurse and teacher. :)
Waiting for PPR ako now. Trying my luck to find work as early as now.

http://www.srna.org/registration/licensure/ien-requirements/87-ien-instructions-to-apply
Matindi requirements! Language requirement S/W 7.5, R 7, L 8.. :o
Work experience: 1225 hours of nursing practice or RN Graduate or Completed Bridging Program "SIAST"
By the way ang bridging program na yan 32 months..ang saya!

hi chinay, anu ung 250 dollar less sa room?

ibig sabihin nun ba is ung 250 dollar ibawas nila sa sahud mo?

Sabi ng father-in-law ko kasi doctor sia sa saskatoon, andami daw nag reretire na nurses doon, hundreds daw....much more daw this year. So, sobrang in demand daw ang nurses ngayon sa saskatoon...lagi lagi nga daw sa tv narereport ang demand ng nurses.

Kaya, go! go! go! lang tayo lagi....Lord knows whats best for us talaga :)

Dear Pinaynurse,

Yes, thanks for the info. Nabasa ko now may so called Standard Error of Measurement or SEM sa IELTS ng Saskatchewan Nursing and LPN- "a score 0.5 above and below will be considered".

Dumating na yung results ng assessment nila after 14 months at ang sabi i need to complete a Substantially Equivalent Competency (SEC) Assessment sa SIAST. Based sa assessment nila I need to take a paper and pencil exam, clinical lab and case management situations sa area ng med-surg only. and i must complete that in Regina. pag naipasa ko daw yun pwede na ako mag sit sa CRNE. pag bumagsak saka pa lang ako magbibridging program which they will identify kung gaano katagal at saang area pa.

problema ko pag hindi dumating agad yung MR ko within the first quarter, i need to take IELTS ulit kasi hanggang Aug 2012 na lang ang validity noon sa SRNA application ko... tapos yung med-surg exam nga na yun ay kailangang mai-schedule ko within one year from date of receipt (Jan 19, 2012).

May experience man o wala.
