BTW. Just checked my e-cas and it was changed from in-process to decision made!!! Ibig ba sabihin eh VISA na?!! I hope yun na nga. How will they send my visa? Alis pa naman ako from Jan30-Feb 2.

sept - husband approved as sponsor
october 15 - e cas in process request for ppt
october 27- dropped passport in canadian embassy manila
Jan 25 - decision made

katuwa nmn dami pinoy hehe.. buti pa kau on going ako ikakasal pa lang sa July... may question po ako ok lang po ba na habang nasa pinas ako eh ipasa ko na d2 sa canada ung application namen? 3 months vacation po ako saten eh.. ok lang ba na hidni muna ako mag palit ng surname?

I think it would take about 2 months or more. See my timeline below, I'm hoping my status from 'in process' would soon change to 'DM'

@sidjocson - bale nakalagay naman sa email yun file number at kelangan daw paipasa na passport w/in 45days after ma matanggap yun email... so ang ginawa ko nag print ako ng maliit na stub nakalagay dun yun file number ko at ni tape ko dun sa passport... maliit lang kagaya lang pag nilalagyan mo ng name yun mga books mo nung highschool.

They had my NBI, CENOMAR last year Feb. 2009 and until now I'm still waiting for my Visa.

NBI is only valid for one year so yes, there is a possibility that they'll ask a new one from you. This will happen if they have not reviewed or done your security/background check before the NBI clearance expires.
