Sorry, let me reframe it, i havve no record in canada except being a PR, i landed as PR, do i still go back and enter my records?
Oh, I understand now. If you were not present in Canada prior to landing as a PR, then no need to enter absence prior to becoming PR.

I understand that pre-PR entries are for those who were present in Canada on some temporary basis prior to landing as a PR (tourist visa, student visa, temporary worker visa, protected status, etc).

I have over 30 absences to log, I managed 3 in one hour, I also have a job to do.....this is painful.

Also I have to log all my absences, even for pre-pr time, which I dont even need to meet the requirement.

Can I just put in my absences during PR time, since I have been a PR since 2014?

I have been entering absences since 5am this morning. Very slow going.
Need to reload the page most of the time and re-enter an abscent 2, 3 times even more but eventually works.

I took the week off from work anticipating this possibility.
Will just keep working on it until finished. Almost done with the calc.

I was hoping for the same thing, but it prompted me to do all days absent exactly five years prior to the date I'm applying (Oct 13.)

Does having the OWP while waiting for PR application (spousal) considered as temporary worker or visitor?

After 8 hours non-stop, I have my other family members finished.
Now to my own calcs. I stuck at the question that asks if I have been in prison. I resubmitted 'no' more than a dozen times before it times out and I have to re-enter 'no'.

I don't know how much longer I can hold out before I will have to answer 'yes' to this question. o_O

OWP = Open Work Permit ... thus you had Worker status from the date when your Work Permit was issued until the day before it was replaced by whatever replaced it (PR or another WP).

Whether you were in Canada or abroad during the time you were a Worker is a different question and completely unrelated to your immigration status, though.

I was on a work permit for certain period between Oct 2012 and Sep 2013 but then

during this time, I also filed for a work permit extension and waited for 3 months

to receive it while I was still legally allowed to work in Canada. Should I mention

this period while I was waiting for a new WP to be issued as a separate row in the

calculator or just put one period against the type "Temporary Worker" right from Oct

2012 to Sep 2013?

Thanks.
So status for hubby would be visitor -> worker -> PR
