One year after my spouse received her Canadian PR card we left to visit/reside in her home country (Denmark) for a few years; it has been 6 months so far.

From what I understand she is still able to meet her "730 days within Canada" requirement to maintain her PR status because she is still living with me (I am a Canadian Citizen).

My Question is: Do these days spent with me outside of Canada count towards the 1095+ days required to apply for Canadian citizenship?

Our ultimate goal is that one day we will be citizens of both countries and live between them, but I want to ensure we are taking the right steps.

Thanks in advance for the help and advice!

No - they do not count towards citizenship. These days only count towards keeping her PR status. To count the days for citizenship, she must be physically in Canada.

Just saw your recent posts. Counting the days for her PR are not 100% guaranteed. She seems to have moved to the Netherlands very soon after receiving PR. Based on your post the move was initiated by the PR not the Canadian. The issue of who is accompanying whom can be an issue. These things can be looked at it more detail especially during long absences from Canada or when the PR leaves soon after receiving PR. How long did she remain in Canada after receiving PR?

Most people are able to get the days with a Canadian citizen to count towards RO but there are cases where it can be challenged.
