Really? Do we have to sign on the back of photos? I applied inland for my wife. Does that apply? OmgGumper said:I think I recall one poster on here saying on his GCMS notes there was a remark that "the photos weren't signed". They didn't return the entire application to him, so chances are they'll let it slide if everything else is complete, I would say. Probably depends a lot on the officer treating it as well. (Once you get your SA you could always send signed pics to the VO handling the application, to be safe.)
yeah, didn't do that either! i obviously did not read the instructions thoroughly enough.civic said:Really? Do we have to sign on the back of photos? I applied inland for my wife. Does that apply? Omg
I didn't see any instruction about signing on photos either. I will hang myself if I missed that and CIC returns our application after 4 mths in dustrhcohen2014 said:yeah, didn't do that either! i obviously did not read the instructions thoroughly enough.
it wasn't mentioned in the letter they sent about our application being incomplete. we just received SA, so hopefully it's not an issue??? Guess i'll find out soon enough!
I was looking a looking in the Western Europe guide. I had heard of people signing them, but there was no information about doing so in the guide, so I skipped it. If you cant find it, you ain't doing it!Gumper said:It was on the Philippines Specific Instructions anyway.....maybe other countries/inland it isn't required? (We even had our 6-year-old sign his just to be sure, which was a comical exercise.)
Gumper said:Maybe there's extra care required because of heightened fraud concern in the Philippines? Anyway, this is what it says on page A-4 of that guide: Supply nine (9) recent photos for each member of your family and yourself (accompanying and non-accompanying). Photos submitted must be properly labeled at the back with the applicant's name, date of birth and signature.

No. Leave them alone as long as the measurements of your face, chin to crown and such things are proper.Moe2010 said:Here is another silly requirement/question. The photo shop i took the photos at was able to get me the photos in the required size. However, when i measured it myself, i found that the size is correct only if i exclude the tiny white borders around it. Should i go back to him asking him to cut off the borders? :s
