phone call or letter for oath ceremony??

To everyone who had their oath invitations recently - do they still call you on the phone number on file to invite for oath or they send you a traditional pinky paper and there are no phone calls anymore...?? Thank you for

Everything went absolutely fine , we both got 20 out of 20. Officer was very nice lady who told us that rq is going to be eviewed in st Clair and we going to hear from them shortly.
What is your update?

Nothing after test. Last update was during test where CO told that my file will be sent over to St. Clair office for review of my RQ. I haven't heard anything back yet. I'm thinking it may be a 12 month or even more wait.

I wish there was a way that we could go explain our case and get it over with. This processing time is becoming ridiculous.

Did you order atip report? Or send them enquery thru CIC website? If there will be no update for in a month or so I would do both. Keep in touch, our timelines are almost the same. Good luck!!

Yes, Our timelines are very similar. I will keep you posted on my progress. I hope you would do the same. I keep checking this forum almost everyday unless there is some internet availability issue.

Funny that you asked if I ordered ATIP. I have done that and also sent a case specific inquiry last week. I have to wait and see what shows up in the report. I'm not sure about the case specific inquiry as it says they reply back only if I'm outside of the processing times. Which is ridiculously 35 months for non routine process.

We wont have to wait 35 months, don't worry about it. All will be done this year, trust me! I have a feeling....

No phone call for us. Just the oath invite on the mail.

I think they call for oath when a spot becomes available in last minute because someone called in to cancel his oath appointment. They don't have enough time to send a letter to someone else so they call the next person in line and ask " can you make it tomorrow or the day after?...."
