Hi guys,
I am going to sent my application to PEBC for document evaluation and I have paid 600 CAD via Visa card and I think I need to pay an extra 100 CAD for ECA request but there is no online payment page for it. Do I have to pay by cheque or money order?
Hi,
You do not have to pay extra 100 $. since you are fresh applicant , do not forget to include ECA request form in your main application.
100 $ is for all those who did their PEBC evaluation previously without ECA and now they want only ECA certificate to claim extra CRS points in express entry.
hope this helps.

Hi guys,

i only did my IELTS. I'm a bit lost, the WES says my pharmacy degree (Cairo University, Egypt) is equivalent to a 4 years bachelor's degree. One of the consultancy offices said i should select the professional degree and that's gonna push me about 50 points. If there's any pharmacist here who has started his application recently, can you kindly advise me on a reliable source of info that would be like a step by step guide?

thanks in advance

You have to get your ECA report from PEBC if you want to claim points for professional degree. With WES ECA, you can't claim points for professional degree.

Hi guys! I received the first letter confirmation from PEBC but they did not send the ECA REPORT. Do I need to send an ECA request form? Is it necessary for me to pay $100? I am a fresh applicant. If so, where can I pay for it? Do they have account or money order? Thank you!

Hi. Im also a pharmacist and i applied for express entry but unfortunatetly i have low crs which is 369, so i have a low chance of aquirinh ITA. However, one of way to increase my crs is to be in provincial nominee. I would like to ask if our is noc which pharmacist is indemand in any provinces in canada and how did you got in the provincial nominee. Thanks advance for reading this and i really would appreciate if you would reply on this.

Hi All, I am a pharmacist in US since 8 years, I want to apply for Express Entry, do I need to obtain a license in Canada before I apply, what if I do not want to work as a pharmacist once I come to canada, do I still need the license in Canada ? Also my points come to around 396 as my age is 40. Should I apply for a PNP in another province ? Please help , any suggestions would be great.

HI ,
What if I get Pharmacy degree evaluated and my work experiance is other than Pharmacist. however my foreign work experience is at Skill level A and listed in NOC.
Can I claim points for all relevant? Or I have to select NOC code as pharmacist only if I choose Professional degree option in education ?

Choose the Primary NOC to be 3131, then you can choose the suitable NOC for each work experience, you will still get the full points for each year of experience as long as it is skill 0, A or B.

I have done that in my profile and it calculated this way.

Thanx for this clarification. It is really a big help. Just a few following questions.
1. Is PEBC ECA report enough to get score in skill transferability with language at CLB9+ ?
2.Did you get scores in skill transferability by only providing pharmacy degree ? I have post grad diploma as well, I can get WES ECA report to get points for "Two or more degree...." in skill transferability section. OR professional degree is equvalent to "Two or more degree..." ?

Check the CRS calculator, it shows no relevance between the ECA source and the score you get. When it comes to working experience, It only calculates the score based on the years of experience in Skill Type 0, A, or B.
Try to calculate your score once by mentioning only the "Professional Degree" and once by mentioning both degrees, I think more education gives you a higher score.
