Application received 30 Aug 2010 and cashed 15 Sep 2010, now that post-June-26 have started getting AORs we are hopeful of getting one before Christmas.

Wayne.

You need to contact your bank, and they should be able to find out for you (some smaller banks can't, or won't, do this - but the larger banks should be able to).

Dear Cappucino ,

i have to discuss an important issue regarding the calculation of our educational points.
How many points will a person get having a Pharm-D degree (doctorate in pharmacy)with 17 years of study..20 , 22 or 25?
MBBS awards 20 (i know ) but this is a doctorate degree not bachelor in medicine and bachelor in surgery(MBBS) degree.
As far as i understand in ascending order;
Bachelor
Master
Doctorate
If it is not consider equal to PhD then at least it is not less than a master degree so should be awarded 25.
In my case i have a B.pharm degree ( 4 years) and then a Pharm-d degree (i year condensed course-but full time)..so two degrees submitted at the time of application filed ..so do you think if not 25 then atleast i would have got 22..
Second indicator in my support is that my status turned to InProcess 2 days back with date inside.I have claimed 5 points for POR but couldnt able to submit full docs relating to POR therefore i guess i couldnt get those 5 points.
Now if i award myself only 20 points for education then total would be 65..but as you see i am inprocess by VO london therefore i have got 22 or 25 points.. making it atleast 67 or 70.
what do you comment on it..???

will be really thankful to you for your input.

one more thing, give a damn to the people who neg u, donot get hyper..this is actually for what those folks enjoy. you are special enough to do other things rather than to react to those nonsenses.

Dear until Cappucino comment on this, let me give you my input.
Pharm-D is a graduate degree so you will score 22 points. as it is not equivalent to Masters degree so you can not have 25 points.
so you will be able to score 67. so Cheers!

we are same boat.my consultant said me they will be awrad 22 point of 2 degree 4 year Bpharm and 1 year Dpharm.my application recived 12 july 2011.i am also still confuse.if they will give me 20 point then my total point will be 66 and if they will give me 22 point then my total point 68 so i am still waiting what will be happen my bank draft still not chashed.

Could someone please help me understand, I am just getting very nervous right now that my application has been rejected. My credit card has not been charged yet.

I just scrutinized IM 5620 again and there is an instruction that "this form must accompany all applications for Permanent Residence under the Federal Skilled Worker class. A separate payment form is required for each application." Does that mean that only 1 person per one payment form, which is essentially the IM 5620-1 principal, 1 form, 1 family member, another form?!?!

There is also additional note in the IMEG7000 that says, "note: The review of your application will only start after you return your application with the correct fees."

Could someone please share!

Hi there, thank you for explaining, I just read the statement again and it means each application and not applicant! Just one word can make a lot of difference. I see that you are applying under 3131 as well. Has your bank draft or credit card been charged yet? I still don't know why mine has not been charged yet. I am getting very concerned.
