1. 1 year PGWP.
2. 1 year and 8 months PGWP.

Kind of self explanatory to be honest.

I interpreted the new guidelines that (1) could be upto 2 years which differs from the previous guidelines where 2x1 could be upto 3 . To qualify for upto 3 years PGWP now the combined total needs to be in excess of 2 years or 1800 hours. As usual the wording is vague and subject to interpretation.

You're correct. If an individual completes a 2 year (single) program, he/she is entitled to a 3 year PGWP.

However, with two separate study programmes, each 1 year long = 2 years PGWP. Unless, the applicant completes individual programs with a combined length that exceeds 2 years, which will then grant him/her with a 3 year PGWP.

I believe 1800 hours is for Quebec and more than 2 years is for everywhere else. Unless you are doing a 1+1.5 combination of programs, you will now only have a 2 year PGWP, earlier with a 1 + 1 you could get a 3 year PGWP.

In the current rules if it is less than 2 years then PGWP will be given for the exact duration of the two courses combined. If it is more than 2 years combined then you are elegible for a 3 year PGWP.
