Hello,
I'm married to a Canadian Citizen and my PGWP expires in 7 months.
Is it possible to get an OWP after the PGWP?
How can I remain in Canada after PGWP expiration, & continue to work.
I'm from a non-visa exempt country.
Thanks!

Being married to a Canadian citizen does not entitle you to an OWP.

To qualify for an OWP, your spouse would have to sponsor you using the inland spousal sponsorship process and include an OWP application. You would then be granted the OWP at approximately the four month mark (after the application is submitted). Note that inland applications take around 2.5 years to process and it's highly recommended you not leave Canada at all during this time.

If you are from a visa exempt country it's quite possible you would be much better off applying for PR outland. No OWP is granted with the outland process, but it is much faster and there are no concerns with leaving Canada (i.e. leaving Canada won't cancel the application).
