Hello,
I applied for my PGWP in Feb 2022 and my eligibility review has not yet begun. The processing times have changed and the letter I received from the IRCC stating I can work till June 2022 or until a decision is made whichever comes first is creeping in by 2 days. I work as a frontline worker in a hospital and I'm worried this will lead to the termination of my employment. Any employment requires me to have legal status to work in the country. I'm unsure what to do so that I can continue working in the hospital.
I thought of applying for my PGWP again hoping the IRCC will issue another letter stating I can work 4 months full time for any employer until a decision is made. But, I am unsure if this will work or if it will affect my current application.
Once I receive my PGWP decision for the application made in Feb 2022, I will withdraw my application for the PGWP in June 2022.
Do you think this will work or if there is anyway I can continue to work?
The IRCC does not accept calls because of the long wait times.
Thank you.
