He doesn't need LMIA to get into pool as he qualifies for CEC. But if he applies for LMIA and got it, he will have additional 600 points, which kind of guarantees an ITA. Without that, we don't know the chances of it.AK84 said:My friend is planning to apply for CEC under Express Entry.
Could you please provide some advise will really help him?
Here is his scenario.
1. He is currently working as full time contractor job under NOC B more than one year in Canada.
2. Do he required LMIA for apply EE. Why? if he has already working in Canada with job offer.
3. He studied two years diploma from Ontario college so do he required ECA ? if no what about back home education ECA required in this case.
Please advise,
If you don't have a job with LMIA you will need to register Job bank.malik786 said:guys did you register with job bank?

i was wondering i did something wrong because itisasking me register even though i have job in canada already.
CEC applicants:
i think 400+ has a good chance in CEC,With 21000 cap this year
i think each monthly draw should have 21000/12 = ? ITAs.
most CEC canadidates dont have LMiA(thats what i think atleast)
