Hello,
I have question regarding income. I was working as Covid support worker in health field when Covid was about to over in 2022 I lost my job. I applied for EI and received it in 2022. Can I count 2022 EI income for pgp application? Please answer if anyone had the similar situation and got accepted.

Boggles my mind that people don’t do everything to maintain LICO when they are attempting to sponsor their parents. PGP is literally winning the lottery for various reasons and the opportunity may not come up again for many years.

I agree. Years before we submitted the PGP application/interest to sponsor, we started talking about maintaining our income every year to make sure that once it's available, we meet the requirement to sponsor.

There are things that we cannot plan but there are some that we can act upon.
btw my husband was self employed for a few years too. And we frequently see business owners trying to claim income from the business which is not count upon LICO. (money belonging to the business is not one that the owner can spend freely on personal expenses)
