Hello Everyone today I received Medical Exam passed for my Parent's file.

File Submitted: Feb 26
Documents Requested: April
AOR: September 26
Biometrics was already done with Visitor Visa
Sponsorship DM: 19 Oct
Medical requested: 21 Oct
Medical Completed: 29 Oct
Medical Passed : 17 Nov
Hello Rosticraphel, i did medical last week too, what about PCC, did you submitted with your application, or you will receive special request like medical.
Thanks

Thanks Jadeja
I am not sure about the country from where you are getting the PCC. I got it from India where the PCC is valid for 6 months and hence, I waited for the sponsorship approval letter. You may choose to wait for a special request for PCC and applicants do get such special PCC requests once the Principal applicant application is under process.
A sample of PCC request letter can be found here: PCC request PGP2019 from NDVO.pdf - Google Drive
A sample of Sponsorship approval letter can be found here : PGP-2019 - Google Drive (look for SA letter with PCC)

I submitted PCC upon getting the sponsorship approval letter but you can choose to wait until you are specifically asked for PCC. Both samples were shared above.

You can request PCC once you have received communication that Sponsorship is approved. You can then submit it using Webform to get added to your file.

Hi everyone. nice to see everyeones progress and steady pace. i have some questions i am hoping someone can answer and help me out. i submitted application for my parents on march,2021. in may cic contacted me to re-submit some application with real signature. i did. last week i received a email stating that i "have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative will be processed at CPC-Mississauga. This office was selected based on your relative’s home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act."
it also lists all the supporting documents i have submitted already with the application with 3 additional requirements.

*police certificate
*biometrics
*medical-for which it states the instruction will be sent.

i requested my parents to obtain police certificate. and i understand they will get a medical examination request/instruction. my question is

at this point what action should i take?

will they get any letter/instruction for biometrics. they had super visa which expired last year and they gave their fingerprint/biometrics back in 2016 when the super visa was issued. using online tool i found nothing on their website. no record was found for biometrics.

also they/me have failed to link the application to their account. using online status check tool it says application is "in process"

i appreciate all the input and help. thank you

they will receive 2 separate letter for biometric and medical. check their inbox because these instructions will go to their email not to you unless maybe you are the representative.

thanks! i think so too..i started trying to link their account and application and exhausted 10 tries so far...not sure what i am doing wrong.might send a webform request for help
Just a tip.

For number of applicants. If you have 1 sponsor , add 1 to number of applicants.

I.e

2 applicants + 1 sponsor = 3
If you have 2 sponsor put 4.

Hope this will help.

Based on CIC https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...publications-manuals/panel-members-guide.html

If your Mother's treatment is expensive and could cost more than 100,000$ in the upcoming 5 years in that case it might be an issue. However, based on experience it should be good.

Besides everything else, I hope she will have good health and enjoy a good time with her family soon. :) Stay positive.

My Dad's eGFR is lower compared to the normal range and the CIC takes Kidney related things seriously. As there might be regular dialysis required which is expensive. But they passed it. Of course, they did some extra tests. Make sure when you go for Medical bring whole history (Whole means whole). Explain everything and don't ignore things. Bring all medicine. They don't want to reject your file they just want to know your medical condition. Even if base on medical reasons they reject it you can always appeal or say that you will cover medical expenses for 5 years (or will buy insurance). I have no direct experience regarding this appeal thing.

Don't worry much. It will be fine.

Hi everyone, my dad did his medical in China and we just received an email asking him to contact the panel physician for follow-up. He will nonetheless visit the panel physician to ask but I found it strange that the instruction came from Regional Medical Office – Manila, i.e. Embassy of Canada in Manila, the Philippines. Is it normal that the email came from the Embassy in another country than where he currently is? Maybe the clinic sent the info to the wrong office? Or am I overthinking?

Here is how the email reads: "Your immigration medical examination results were received and in order to complete the assessment, additional information is required.

Details of the medical information required were recently sent to your e-Medical file. Contact the panel physician first to confirm their operating hours and any specific requirements for this follow-up, as you may not be required to visit the clinic prior to a certain date or they may just need to confirm information on the phone with you.....
"

Thank you in advance!

thank you so much. medical was done yesterday. she showed her 2d echo result but the dr. did not get it. i guess we’ll just wait patiently and pray everything will be okay…

I recieved medical request for my parents today. I have 2 questions around it.
1. My mother's prefilled details have wrong gender. Do I ignore that as typo or get it fixed via webform before going for medical.
2. Request says 30 days to get the test done. So i assume 30 days to get test done and submit the eMedical online. Does it have to be received within 30 days as well ?

Thanks in advance.
