I did not sign it and it was fine but yes sign it better safe then sorryThere is no place to sign but to be safe than sorry, I just signed and dated it at the bottom of the page where the checklist ends (just before the CPC address).

Yeah honestly there is no need to sign it as we shouldn’t be signing where we’re not supposed to and they too probably want us to only sign where they’ve mentioned but their guidelines are too generic at times and we’re usually (and rightly) paranoid about sending the perfect immigration application lol so I proudly signed and dated the checklist as well. #ThingsWeDoI did not sign it and it was fine but yes sign it better safe then sorry
2021-02-26, application received in Ottawa,
Hi
As per the instructions forms should be in below order.
- copy of the invitation to apply letter with your confirmation number
- document checklist
- any barcode pages
- application forms and supporting documents, in the order they are listed on the document checklist
But I followed below order, will there be any problem -
Will there be any problem.
- copy of the invitation to apply letter with your confirmation number
- document checklist
- each application form(followed by barcode page, if they are available) and supporting documents, in the order they are listed on the document checklist
One more question, I mailed my application yesterday.
As per Canada post, my application will be delivered on Mar 03rd. As per the initial letter I should send the package before Mar 15th.
March 15th is when the application should be delivered (or) when they open the application.
Also I didn't sign the document checklist - will there be any problem.
Thanks
did you check the status of application received from courier company or is there a place to check where CIC update s saying application received.
I sent my documents thorugh canada post. canada post tracking says delivered in feb 22nd. how do i know CIC has the application ? any idea
- I don’t think the barcode pages need to be attached loosely (separate from their intended IMM forms). The way you did it with each application followed by it’s available barcode page is correct.
- If your application reaches them meaning it’s delivered to them before March 15, then you’re fine. They will eventually open it whenever they get to it.
- A lot of applicants haven’t signed the document checklist. Common sense dictates not to, being extra particular and paranoid about things and you’d have signed. Either way you should be fine. As long as everything else is how it’s supposed to be, I don’t think they’d reject your application.
All the best!
Same my question toodid you check the status of application received from courier company or is there a place to check where CIC update s saying application received.

I checked the below link - https://immitrackerpro.com/ca/pgp
I could see many applicants updated as - documents requested in Feb 2021 for applications sent on Jan 2021.
How come they are getting the updates from CIC so fast.
Same my question too
As per Canada post tracking application received at Ottawa on Feb 12, however no AOR. What should I do?
This is what Canada post tracking says. Are we allowed to repost another set of forms?Receiving an AOR is not something that happens immediately after they receive your application. Based on previous applications from previous years, AOR will take few weeks to few months. Be rest assured that they have received your application if Canada Post or any other courier or postal service says that they’ve delivered your package. We’ve made it this far. Patience.
