It is not necessary to certified it.I am new here and would greatly appreciate your advice on this so I can finalize the application package to sponsor my dad:
He lives in China and took the required (2) photos earlier this month that are now being couriered to me via DHL. The photography studio stamped their name and wrote the address at the back of the photo but they were in Chinese. Do I need to get a certified translation here once I receive these photos OR that I can translate the name and addresses myself?
I am not sure if the photos would be considered "documents not in English/French" that needs to follow the translation requirement.

picture date and studio name/address. (They are caring about whether the pic are taken by studio or not. No worry for the studio's Chinese characters...)
